Visualize rustic foliage and fauna. Brilliant colors that seep across an old stonewalls surface and four glorious seasons a calendar year. Imagine exploring native woodlands, sitting under a tree and sketching the branches or textures of century old trees. Picture spending hours at a New England shoreline, sifting through tumbled-rocks and combing beaches for seashells or discarded treasures that traveled across the ocean floor before it found its way beached on the sand and then into your hand.
My designs evoke antiquity, elegance, and the ethereal. Each piece is unique, conversation starting, and original statement jewelry!
I attended pre-college for 8 years at RISD prior to receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. Here I am at sixteen in the sculpture studio at RISD.
My designs are inspired by two concepts. Observations in nature and my imagination. I merge both ideas together into an organic, fine artful expression, also referred to as wearable art jewelry. Within my designs, you may notice an unexpected ocean-scape scene or a thoughtfully hand - fabricated nature patterned design. I l'll utilize color, texture and alternating bold and delicate lines to evoke drama within each of my pieces. My materials are ethically resourced and quality precious / semiprecious gemstones. My original chain designs are adjustable and have extensions to alternate length. I utilize the highest quality sterling silver or 14k gold. I've also created customized ear backings in a leaf motif for secure and comfortable support for your earrings to rest perfectly upon your earlobes.
I was raised in a small town called Warwick, Rhode Island and nearby by childhood home stood the "Costume Jewelry Capital of the World" in historic and beautiful Providence, Rhode Island. This is where my fascination for jewelry began! I hope you enjoy wearing my designs. If you have any questions at all please email me. I'd be delighted to hear from you!
